The right of withdrawal only applies to distance contracts between a business and a consumer. Distance contracts are contracts in which the business and the consumer use exclusively (!) means of distance communication for the contract negotiations and the conclusion of the contract.

Means of distance communication are those means of communication that are used without the contracting parties being physically present at the same time, such as e-mails, letters, catalogues, telephone, faxes, messages sent via mobile network (e.g. SMS), radio and telemedia.

According to ECJ case law and the Internet Ombudsman, rental vehicle bookings are exempt from the statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts, as these vehicle rental contracts fall under the exception for leisure services provided on a specific date.

For distance contracts, you have the right to withdraw from the contract free of charge within fourteen days of booking, without giving any reason. You were informed of this by us before the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Deutsche Reisemobil Vermietungs GmbH, Adalbert-Stifter-Weg 41, 85570 Markt Schwaben | info@drm.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unambiguous statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail to info@drm.de) or via this form.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notification concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
